Nirwana Education Group, with its institutions situated in the bustling cities of Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Selangor and Seremban, has grown from one college with one program to a chain of institutions, with numerous top quality programmes growing exponentially in both programme variance and financial stability.
The introduction of intellectual giants with visionary ideas responsible for the progressive growth of the Group depicts the ‘strong pillars’ of the Group and their ability to push forward, with their continuous expertise and strengths, towards the ever evolving education waves. This profile also illustrates the Group’s response towards market demands locally and internationally. The Group therefore provides a range of professional, educational, technical and technological programmes that prepare students for their future undertakings.
The Group never fails to construct new understanding of the balance of responsibility towards society. Hence, various initiatives in the past have been, and many more to come in the future, will be undertaken by developing new sets of governance in creating social values.

It seems only yesterday, that I was sharing the same platform with co-founder, Mr. Segaran, setting up Nirwana College with is Law fraternity. Today, what started as a Law fraternity, has expanded tremendously through the hard work and dedication of all members under the Nirwana Education Group, both academically and administratively to place us as one of the top rated education groups in Malaysia through our distinctive university college, the International University College of Arts and Science, (IUCAS).
IUCAS embarked into the diversified field of both the arts and science faculties without compromising the quality of education to be delivered to all our students who are also the future leaders. With the existing pioneer team combined with the new generation of energy and brains, a reshaped organization was formed to cater to the evolving nature of education waves. This has proven to bear fruits.
I am convinced that it was the right way to go administratively and creatively for the future of IUCAS and its sister college in a rapidly changing education environment. We have demonstrated the capacity to engage in major structural reforms to achieve efficiency and to serve our students in the best possible way.
I can now safely say that one of our greatest strengths is our international affiliations and link with university and educational institutions around the globe, using the latest technology available both via in-campus and online interactive systems. With the competitive advantages of its global spread, we are clearly well placed to enhance our services to foreign countries, working on various business models.
Vigorous initiatives are now being undertaken and emphasized in the areas of Research and Development (R&D) and in line with the vision and mission set by IUCAS By the year 2013, a full fledged R&D department will be in full operational mode, catering to the latest needs in the research fields.

Message From
Chairperson
It gives me great gratification to toward this message on behalf of the Nirwana Education Group to all, our parents, students and well wishers. The Nirwana Education Group from a very humble beginning, has fast expanded into a large education entity. Although established just more than a decade ago we are proud that today we have six educational institutions which make up the Group.
These include Nirwana College , Windfield International College, Aseana College of Health Sciences, Etica International College of Arts and Science (formerly known as International University College of Nursing).
Throughout these years, we have encompassed a virtuous circle of creating, imparting, and applying knowledge. We are constantly focusing on research and development programmes, and introducing programmes that are and will continue to be relevant to our students, going hand-in-hand with our vision to embark on the establishment of the faculties of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy in the near future.
We recognise that the acid test for graduates is employability. I would like to quote Plato who said “Knowledge is the food of the soul”. It is with this acknowledgement that we at Niwana Education Group are committed towards providing students a holistic education. Apart from providing our student the best facilities and resources, we ensure that the learning environment is conducive to the development of character, discipline and leadership.
Beyond producing graduate manpower, the Nirwana Education Group today embraces a greater focus on nurturing talent and building intellectual capital, serving both the local and international array of students.

THE INSTITUTIONS
The private limited company was established in 2003 under Nirwana Academy Sdn. Bhd. The co-founders of the Group, Mr. Maran Kannan and Mr. A.Segaran, are experienced educationist. Prior to starting this institution they headed the Law Faculty at a very prestigious college in the heart of town. Being pioneers in the Law Faculty, they were granted a franchise license, which comprised of A Level and Law degrees awarded by University of London and University Wales respectively. The Group grew from strength to strength vigorously increasing the number of programmes as well as the number of colleges. Despite this rapid increase, of the quality of education was never compromised, thus making this Group a top choice amongst wiser students.
Today, with six institutions under its belt and with the distinctive university college, Nirwana Education Group is forging ahead with even more programmes to meet the demands of a rapidly developing Asian nation which is transforming into an education hub within the region. Approximately 15 percent of the students of the IUCAS and its sister colleges are foreigners, and this percentage is growing faster than the local market. It has, therefore, become imperative for the Group to include foreign collaborations and programmes. It is in this context that Nirwana is seeking credible academic institutions of higher learning that offer relevant and robust courses to form smart partnerships to meet the demands of the vast Asian market.
